This has become one of my husband’s favorite dishes of mine!

Ingredients

  • pork chop
  • black pepper (a lot!)
  • onions
  • butter
  • ketchup
  • worchestershire sauce
  • soy sauce
  • maggi sauce
  • shaoxing wine
  • sugar
  • salt
  • corn starch + water
  • dark soy sauce
  • mixed vegetables
  • cheese
  • green onions

Directions

1. Tenderize porkchops and season with salt on both sides.

2. In a heated pan under high heat, add butter. Sear and cook the porkchops- 4mins on each side.

3. Toast the black pepper until fragrant, then add onions. Add everything else for the sauce. Once thickened with the corn starch slurry, remove from heat.

4. In a baking dish, place rice with mixed vegetables. Add porkchops on top, drizzle sauce, and sprinkle cheese. Broil for 8mins or until the cheese browns a bit. Garnish with green onions.
